At Lacerta, we’re committed to weaving sustainability into every aspect of our business. Our new sustainable material, ReCERTA™, is the latest chapter in our time-honored commitment to sustainable practices. Today, all of our PET-based packaging is made with ReCERTA™, which includes an average of at least 10% FDA-approved PCR content, with custom blends available upon request.
Our sustainability mission doesn’t end there. Our goal is to deliver product innovation that advances responsible practices in the packaging industry. That includes how to talk about plastic packaging, too. In addition to packaging, Lacerta offers brand messaging, life cycle assessment, and plastic packaging insights to educate your customers about the sustainability benefits of our products.

OUR HISTORY
Lacerta Group, LLC. has been a leading provider of innovative thermoformed packaging solutions since 1993. Our reputation is built on product integrity, excellent customer service, sustainability, and speed to market.
Headquartered in Mansfield, Massachusetts, we operate seven facilities in the United States: three in Mansfield, one in Chatsworth, California, one in Attleboro, MA, and one in Portage, Wisconsin. Lacerta, founded by the Lotfi family, became a portfolio company of SK Capital Partners in 2020.
Lacerta Group, LLC is founded in the empowerment zone of Boston, Massachusetts.
We begin taking advantage of recycled material and start our thermoforming operations.
The Lotfi family sells the business but remains highly involved in its strategy and operations.
Lacerta celebrates our 30th year in business with state-of-the-art facilities across Massachusetts and California.
